PharmaLogic (U.S. Importer) – Privacy Notice for Personal Data Received from the EEA
PharmaLogic Holdings Corp. acts as an independent controller when receiving and processing personal data from Agilera AS (Norway). Data subjects include employees and contractors. Categories of data may include information necessary for identity provisioning, IT administration, and financial reporting and management support. We process this data under the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), supported by a Transfer Impact Assessment (TIA) and additional safeguards, including access controls, encryption, and processor Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
For Canadian operations, PharmaLogic and its affiliated companies comply with PIPEDA and applicable provincial privacy legislation. Personal information may be processed in Canada or transferred to the United States under contractual safeguards that ensure an equivalent level of protection.
The lawful basis for processing is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) and, where applicable, contract performance (Article6(1)(b)). We do not process health or special category data under Article 9 via cookies or website tracking.
Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for these purposes, in line with our Data Retention Policy. Our website is not intended for the submission of Protected Health Information (PHI).
